The first impression about you or your company is very important when someone hands over your business card, so it's essential to show your customers the best with professional design and a luxurious print quality that lasts as long as possible to get in touch with you.
The choice of paper reflects your customer’s level of service, so choose the paper type carefully. Here are the most common types of paper used:
1. Coated glossy paper
If you want to print a picture and text, and your card is smooth and shiny, this type of paper is ideal.

2. Coated Matte Paper
It’s similar to coated glossy paper, smooth but with matte surface and is also ideal for printing images and text.

3. Textile paper
This type of paper has a surface with a tangible and luxurious feel. It is made of flax or other fabric, making your card look expensive and unique, but it is not advisable to print photos on it.
4. Wood Free Paper
It is the most used because it is the least expensive paper type but be careful when choosing it because it needs certain properties to keep it as long as possible, it is recommended to print the texts on it.
The most common printing methods used:
1. Embossing and debossing
The thermal pressure is used without the ink and gives a three-dimensional appearance. In both engraving and prominence, a similar process is used but the result is different. In appearance, the shape is higher than the surface of the card and the inscription is engraved inside, less than the surface level.
2. Letterpress
The oldest types of printing are similar to the pattern at the top, but ink is used.
3. Die-cut
The card is cut in a distinctive and funky way. In this technique, do not exaggerate the shape of the card, so its size is appropriate with the wallet or pocket size.
4. Foil
A type of printing in which a metal material is used, such as gold or copper, which gives a stylish and elegant appearance to the card.
